Abstract

This qualitative study aimed to learn the teaching-service integration process that exists between a Nursing Technical Course and its insertion in the health services. The formation of focal groups included nurses from the health services, teachers, and students. Data were submitted to Bardin Content Analysis. The authors perceived an incipient integration and its concept was only related to the application of the theory in the practice of the probation fields. The conclusion suggests the set up of a Teaching- Service Integration Committee so that the actions may design in partnership through meetings with various actors.
